Airmax Remote to bring telematics specialism to bear at 2020 Great British Fleet Event

Airmax Remote is returning to Fleet World’s January 2020 Great British Fleet Event, showcasing its current and forthcoming new telematics technologies as it highlights how it can work with fleets to increase efficiency and profitability.

The independently owned business, which was founded in 2002, is a familiar name with the UK’s Contract Hire companies for its Partner programme, which enables Contract Hire organisations to create their own Telematics value-added proposition whilst providing Asset Management, and Vehicle Maintenance data.

Airmax is also known for supplying large corporate end-user fleets with more conventional Fleet Track and Trace, Driver Behaviour Reporting and Mileage Expenses solutions. These have provided the basis for some well-known industry white-labelled products, helping end-users to cut fuel and costs, measure CO2 emissions and operate more efficiently by supporting data-driven workflows.

Airmax has also been key supplier in the Emergency Services sector since 2005 under its own brand; it currently supplies to around 10% of police forces, proving its strong track record among end-user operators, providing mission-critical data 24/7.

Its product specialism has also been proven in the 2018 MPG Marathon and the 2019 WLTP Challenge – the spiritual successor to the MPG Marathon – where its telematics technology was pivotal in providing not only track and trace functionality but also with generating in-depth insight into fuel reporting and monitoring and reporting events such as idle time, acceleration levels, over revving and braking.

Building on from the 2019 Great British Fleet Event where it was also a Partner, Airmax returns for the 2020 show – taking place on 30 January at the London Novotel West – as it looks to increase brand awareness among end-user fleets.

Airmax’s core expertise is in the supply and development of in-vehicle telematics and remote vehicle diagnostics, providing valuable asset management data, such as absolute ODO, service data, fault codes and accident notifications to compliment FNOL processes, underpinned by a one-box solution that combines onboard diagnostics with GPS.

New solutions are also in development though, including a whole new platform aimed at both corporate fleets and leasing companies and covering asset management and SMR improvements to help businesses work smarter, creating data-driven workflows supported by the Amazon Web Services secure cloud services platform.

As with all Airmax solutions, the new products will stand out in the market place for being produced inhouse and manufactured in the UK with patented technologies and control of its IPR; the business says it’s uniquely placed to offer the complete supply chain in design, manufacture, software and hosting.

A further stand-out point is Airmax’s focus on providing fleets with rich, multidimensional data, backed by analytics tools that enable operators to increase visibility within their fleet and maximise its potential.

All this and more will be showcased at the 2020 Great British Fleet Event.
