Charlie Norman takes helm at DriveTech as David Wilson stands down

DriveTech (UK) has appointed Charlie Norman as its new director, building on his 16 years’ experience with the AA.

Norman was previously chief financial officer at DriveTech and replaces David Wilson, who has decided to move on after three years in the role to be closer to his family.

Drawing on his experience, Norman brings a depth of knowledge of the motoring and motorist landscape and a progressive view on the opportunities and challenges ahead.

He commented: “Our mission at DriveTech is ‘working together to eliminate road death and serious injury’ and I will continue to drive this crucial agenda forward with the DriveTech team. With ‘Vision Zero’ increasingly prevalent, new imminent EU regulations to include additional safety components onto new vehicles, and the whole transition around changes in the mobility landscape, these are truly transformational times.

“I want to ensure DriveTech plays a prominent part in this marketplace and can continue to extend its reach and positive impact. I am committed to leading our efforts to improve safety on our roads and reduce collisions and deaths.”
