Europcar Business Rental Service brings benefits to SMEs

Europcar UK, a subsidiary of Europcar Mobility Group, has launched a new Business Rental Service that gives SMEs fast-track access to rental to provide safer, more efficient alternatives to the grey fleet.

Although SMEs might have been put off car rental in the past because they expected to have to sign up to an account, the Europcar Business Rental Service means firms can become a business customer in just three minutes with a simple online application process and immediately start booking with up to 20% discounts on cars and vans.

Europcar’s Business Rental Service helps employers source vehicles for temporary or long term use, alleviating the risk of employees using their own vehicles which may not be maintained to a safe standard. Business Rental is a 24/7 online enrolment service. Once on the system, users simply provide limited information about their business to get special rates and start reserving the vehicles they need.

Recognising the budget pressures facing SMEs, Europcar Business Rental also tailors its pricing to the volume of rentals a business is likely to need. And, from online booking and keyless entry for vehicles at selected locations to express check-out, executive upgrades and easy delivery and collection, SMEs have access to all the benefits usually reserved for full account holders.

Sam Sterry, head of SME at Europcar Mobility Group in the UK, said: “Europcar Business Rental is all about reducing the formality of becoming a business customer, making access to the benefits easier. By registering staff members in advance, firms can ensure their business travellers can book and drive away with the minimum of delay. As well as improving the efficiency and convenience of business trips, employers also gain the peace of mind of knowing staff are in safe, well-maintained vehicles. Europcar Business Rental is the latest service from Europcar that aims to make business travel a safer, stress-free, seamless part of the working day.”
