Fleets can gain free advice on keeping business drivers safe in adverse weather conditions with the help of a forthcoming webinar from Brake.
Taking place on Tuesday 28 January 2020 at 2pm, the webinar will discuss the risks of driving in different weather conditions; how safe driving techniques and good vehicle maintenance can help minimise road danger during bad weather; and technologies to ensure drivers’ safety.
The webinar will be delivered by Global Fleet Champions, Brake’s not-for-profit global campaign, which is free to join and provides guidance on global fleet safety best practice.
Sarah Plumb, senior fleet officer at Brake, said: “Wherever possible, drivers should avoid travelling during bad weather conditions, but when a journey is unavoidable, organisations need to ensure they have rigorous policies in place for both driver behaviour and vehicle maintenance to reduce the risk of a crash and ensure they keep their drivers as safe as possible.”
