Get to grips with connected vehicles at 2020 GBFE

With just nine days to go, it’s not too late to register to attend the second annual Great British Fleet Event, which takes place on Thursday 30 January at Novotel London West, where you can get the latest education on connected cars for free from leading experts.

As part of our comprehensive conference schedule, and running at the same time as the Mobility Masterclass, the Connected Vehicle Masterclass is designed to offer education on the latest trends and developments in this fast-evolving field that has the potential to revolutionise the fleet industry. Connected vehicles offer benefits including the ability to avoid accident hotspots and pre-empting vehicle issues before they happen, leading to potential major cost savings for fleets.

Talking at GBFE 2020 on the subject of “Who owns what?” will be Dan Jenkins, head of PR & marketing The Algorithm People, about fleets, telematics and connected data. Data may be created by vehicles, but will fleets be able to access it? Will it be anonymous and how does that fit in with GDPR?

Sean Morris, MD insurance & Automotive, Trakm8 will then address the exciting possibilities connected cars bring in terms of being able to stop a vehicle problem from happening in advance. This forward thinking technology can ultimately help fleets better plan for necessary work to fleet vehicles, ensuring minimal time off the road.

A hot topic at the moment, the future of connected fleet management will be covered by James Dewhurst, corporate sales managers UK, Webfleet Solutions who’ll talk about how data from connected vehicles is changing fleet management and how the industry works.

Two Masterclass sessions at the Great British Fleet Event run concurrently, with the Mobility Masterclass and Connected Vehicle Masterclass taking place at different ends of the exhibition area and starting from 10:00am, followed by the Technology Masterclass and Electric Vehicles Masterclass that kicks off at 11:30am.

The Great British Fleet Event takes place on Thursday, 30 January 2020, at Novotel London West in Hammersmith. The free-to-attend event consists an exhibition and conferences. To pre-register and secure your free entry, click here: https://eventdata.uk/Forms/Form.aspx?FormRef=GBF10Visitor
