Honda’s interactive whole lifecycle costs calculator now live

Honda has launched an interactive whole lifecycle costs (WLC) calculator, designed to make purchasing decisions simpler for fleet managers.

Following its announcement in March earlier this year, the tool – accessible via Honda’s refreshed Fleet & Company Cars section of its website – provides information on vehicle costs throughout its lifespan, including tax, and is designed to engage with fleet customers and end-users. This enables users to compare Honda models to current vehicles and other manufacturers to predict real life savings and make smart fleet decisions, the company added.

Honda’s refreshed website has a fresh focus on company car drivers, small businesses and fleet managers, with Honda adding that the site will enable users to more effectively judge vehicle costs and get closer to Honda’s growing range of fleet solutions which includes the Civic diesel and CR-V Hybrid. The site additionally provides fleet customers with the opportunity to book a 48-hour test drive of their preferred model.

Phil Webb, head of car at Honda UK, commented: “We’re committed to giving fleet and corporate customers the information they need to make informed decisions. Lifecycle costing gives a more accurate method of effectively judging expenditure, and our interactive calculator enables fleet managers to understand the full costs associated with procurement, operational management, fleet management, risk management and remarketing.”
