New brand Moblyx launches to bring mobile apps for fleet and mobility customers

Fleet and mobility customers are being targeted with two new apps that could streamline their operations.

Launched by new brand Moblyx, the apps include the M Inspect solution, enables users to carry out a variety of vehicle inspections, with or without wireless connection.

Developed to save time and create efficiencies with inspections such as handover reports, safety checks and return inspections, M Inspect digitises processes by making use of interactive vehicle diagrams and allowing images and videos to be recorded and associated with the relevant inspection.

Aimed at all vehicle types, the app is highly configurable, allowing the inspection process and content to be tailored to a multitude of inspection types, such as regulatory/compliance checks, vehicle handover or collection; daily walk rounds; yard inventory condition checks, and so on. It can also be used to track repairs, retaining recorded damage from one inspection to the next.

M Inspect can also log a digital signature from the customer and email a personalised copy of the signed inspection report, which contains a link to view the report and stream associated images and videos

Vitally, it can be used in areas with unreliable internet as it supports online and offline data capture.

Moblyx is also launching its M Carpool app to support customers aiming to fully embrace the move to MaaS, maximising the use of their vehicle assets while reducing costs.

The new solution has central vehicle-pool control functionality and a driver app, supporting vehicle movement tracking, which assists optimised utilisation, and also capturing information vital to health & safety regulation.

Key abilities including support for remote vehicle accessing and for vital data capture, such as odometer readings. It also links to GPS and telematics for route monitoring.

The app has been developed to be highly configurable and offers various options for controlling and reporting on vehicle utilisation: by driver, vehicle, pool, location.
