Volvo to bring EX30 small electric SUV to Great British Fleet Event

Volvo Cars’ new EX30 small SUV will be on its stand at next week’s Great British Fleet Event as the brand showcases its work to support fleets going electric.

Accompanied by some of the expert fleet team from the Swedish carmaker, the latest arrival to the evolving Volvo line-up will be available for decision-makers to check out in person, revealing just why it’s a small SUV with big business potential.

The EX30 was revealed last summer to almost universal acclaim and has already won several major awards, including The Sun’s Car of the Year title, the Small SUV/Crossover of the Year award from The Sunday Times, and the Eco Warrior of the Year award from Top Gear magazine.

It’s Volvo’s smallest-ever SUV, designed to have the smallest carbon footprint of any of its cars to date, yet not sacrificing the brand’s distinctive Scandinavian design, generous interior space with cutting-edge technology, inspiring drive and advanced safety – the EX30 has these all but in a smaller format.

Its fleet credentials are many and various; priced from £33,795, it comes with an official range of up to 295 miles, delivering a strong value proposition to business drivers with an attractive price point. It also offers smart storage space along with high levels of safety features and onboard technology, ensuring safe, sustainable and premium mobility.

The EX30 is also a “cornerstone” in Volvo Cars’ ambitious sustainability goals for 2030 and 2040. The brand is going through an exciting and ambitious transition to become a fully electric car manufacturer by 2030 and to reach zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040.

Its continued electric evolution means Volvo is a great partner for forward-thinking businesses looking to improve their sustainability credentials and grow their electric car fleet. And the fleet team at GBFE on 17 April in Milton Keynes will be on hand to discuss business requirements and assist customers with questions on the brand or switching to electric vehicles, underscoring Volvo Cars’ work to understand the unique business requirements of its customers and tailor solutions that work for them.

The team will be available throughout the event day to discuss the EX30 or any of the other cars in its range, including the recently rebadged EX40 and EC40 – and the flagship EX90 coming later this year.

Volvo also offers its Fleet and Business Online solution where customers can benefit from preferential rates and gain access to the Fleet Portal to manage and track their car fleet.

Jack Munford, senior B2B manager, Volvo Car UK, said: “We are excited to be attending the Great British Fleet Event this year and are particularly looking forward to introducing visitors to our all-new EX30. Our smallest SUV ever has had excellent feedback from the fleet market so far. With high levels of standard specification and a range of up to 295 miles, we’re confident it will be a favourite for fleets in 2024 and beyond.”
