BVRLA to share industry insights and advice at next week’s Great British Fleet Event

The BVRLA will be at Fleet World’s Great British Fleet Event in Milton Keynes next Tuesday 25 April to engage with the sector and shed light on latest thinking and solutions.

The association represents over 1,000 companies engaged in vehicle rental, leasing and fleet management, which are leading the charge to decarbonise road transport and are set to register 400,000 new battery electric cars and vans per year by 2025.

At next week’s GBFE, the BVRLA will share its latest insights, spanning data about its fleet and the latest Leasing Outlook survey as well as discussing the recommendations in the Fleet Charging Guide. The guide was updated in March to highlight where the fleet sector and local authorities need to work in close collaboration on charging infrastructure.

The association will also be on hand to share details of its events and training programmes to help fleet professionals adapt to the changing landscape.

Amanda Brandon, director of member engagement, said: “The fleet sector has faced an extended period of turbulence. Challenges presented by the pandemic have been replaced by a tough economic landscape and cost of living crisis, which must be managed alongside the continued drive to decarbonise. These challenges are shaping much of our work and how we represent BVRLA members and the wider sector.

“We are looking forward to joining the Great British Fleet Event this year to discuss our progress and gain additional insights from fellow fleet professionals.”
