Engineius names Roger Evans as chief operating officer

Engineius has appointed Roger Evans as its new chief operating officer.

The fast-growing vehicle movement specialist – which will demo its offering at next month’s Great British Fleet Event – continues to establish itself as a UK market leader, and Evans will be responsible for taking the Operations Team and its expanding network of drivers and agents on the next phase of its growth journey.

Chris Clibbery, founder and CEO, said: “We are thrilled to formally welcome Roger back to the team, leveraging on his valuable contribution whilst supporting Engineius as a consultant from 2019 to 2021. Roger brings a wealth of knowledge gained from his three decades in the fleet industry.

“This combined with his prior understanding of our internal operations and first-hand experience as a customer over the past few years makes him a perfect fit for the business.”

Alongside his experience at Engineius, Evans has an extensive background in the wider fleet industry, having successfully held a number of roles across multiple companies, facilitating the implementation of multinational solutions and strategic business turnaround initiatives.

He commented: “It feels fantastic to be back at Engineius and witness the progress it has made in enhancing its offerings for customers and drivers since I was last here in 2021. Now with over 600 drivers and agents on our network, their significant role in the business’ growing success cannot be overstated.

“I am looking forward to engaging with them soon as we move through the next stage on the Engineius journey.”
