Leasys, the joint venture between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, is launching a new e-Store e-commerce platform to enable more accessible and sustainable mobility.
Focused mainly on low-emission vehicles, the new ‘self-serve’ marketplace has already been piloted in the Netherlands and launches now in the UK and Italy. Spain will follow before the end of the year along with a progressive rollout to all other Leasys markets.
Supporting Leasys’ European strategic digitalisation plans, the platform extends its ‘omnichannel’ presence by further expanding the possibilities for customers to access its offers across several integrated channels.
Leasys e-Store in the UK is aimed at personal contract hire customers and provides a wide range of vehicles, including full electric and low-emission vehicles, immediately available, enabling quick delivery. The e-Store will further promote low- and zero-emission vehicle adoption across the UK, by providing an additional self-service channel for Leasys’ PCH customers to conveniently lease vehicles.
Leasys e-Store can be accessed from the ‘offers’ section on the homepage of the Leasys.com website. Thanks to the integrated identity and credit check, customers can now complete the entire configuration and ordering process in just a few steps easily, quickly and securely from anywhere and at any time. A team of experts are always on hand to provide support and ensure a smooth experience at every stage of the process.
By mainly promoting low-emission vehicles, the digital marketplace also represents a step forward in the company’s sustainability goals, in line with the strategic plan announced by the company earlier this year to make e-mobility more affordable.
In Italy, only low-emission vehicles on an off-the-shelf basis will be available in order to meet mobility requests in a short timeframe. The initiative will feature latest Stellantis models, available in 100% electric or plug-in hybrid configurations.
The e-Store platform has been developed in collaboration with Capgemini, a global business and technology transformation partner with deep expertise in mobility services.
Rolando D’Arco, Leasys Group CEO, said: “We are very proud of this project, which demonstrates our commitment to making mobility more accessible and sustainable. The new marketplace also makes a concrete contribution to the transition to e-mobility, as it is designed to be an additional channel to promote low-emission vehicles, which customers can rent in self-service mode. By leveraging on advanced technologies that we continue to invest in, we are able to provide our customers with a fully digital journey that is simple, secure and ensures best-in-class experience.”
