Drivetech has extended its partnership with Women in Transport, a not-for-profit organisation that empowers women in the industry to maximise their potential.
Women in Transport promotes a diverse and strong transport workforce that supports UK growth. It delivers events, professional developments programmes and is the secretariat for the All Party Parliamentary Group for Women in Transport.
For Drivetech, part of the AA, the partnership supports its work to promote diversity and inclusion across all areas of its business through multiple initiatives with a focus on creating employee wellbeing and safety education.
Dal Kailrai, interim CEO of Women in Transport, said the partnership reaffirms the organisations’ shared mission to build a strong network and community within the transport sector that can make a real impact.
“Drivetech’s programmes highlight a broader focus on creating a supportive, inclusive culture that prioritises safety and employee well-being alongside operational excellence and social impact initiatives. We look forward to our continued collaboration and the promising future ahead.”
Nick Butler, director of Drivetech, went on: “Our partnership with Women in Transport reflects our commitment to supporting opportunities for women at all levels of the business. We are making great progress year on year and the structures and processes we have in place are designed to ensure that women can reach their full potential at Drivetech and the wider AA.”
