AA Business Services helps fleets navigate connected technology

AA Business Services has launched a new thought leadership publication to help fleets leverage data and technology in an evolving mobility landscape.

The new ‘yellow paper’ explores the many challenges faced by fleets and the role that connected technologies and data can play in smoothing the way forward.

Technology and connectivity have an increasingly important role to play in driving up productivity and performance, driving down costs and minimising risk for fleets – and the new guide spotlights the tools available for fleets.

James Starling, director, AA Business Services, said: “Businesses are searching for certainty in an era where change is the only constant.

“Our yellow paper dives into the risk factors that impact fleets and examines how connected technologies can help smooth the path forward.”

The launch coincides with the release of two new products to ease the fleet management burden.

These include the new Vixa AI-powered vehicle check app. Launched by AA X, the AA’s automotive innovation arm, this harnesses the AA’s 100 plus years of expertise and proprietary data to predict failure and recommend specific fixes to vehicle issues as they arise, minimising downtime.

New innovations also include the Halo Insights fleet data aggregation platform, developed by Drivetech to bring together data on telematics, fuel, accidents and costs, providing fleet managers with a comprehensive overview to optimise performance.

“At the AA, we are committed to staying ‘Always Ahead’ and supporting our customers through every mobility challenge,” Starling continued.

“With the launch of Fleet Vehicle Health and Halo Insights, we are equipping businesses with the tools they need to pre-empt disruption and improve the management of their fleets. Data and connectivity are revolutionising the way fleets operate, and we’re proud to be at the forefront of this transformation.”
