Baywater Healthcare driver crowned Trakm8 Road Safety Hero of the Year

Ryan Davies from Baywater Healthcare has scooped Trakm8’s Road Safety Hero of the Year accolade for 2024.

Davies, nominated by his colleague Gavin Evans, stood out among many inspiring entries for his unwavering commitment to road safety and his dedication to making a positive impact within his workplace.

The nomination captured Davies’ passion for safe driving, stating: “Not only does he look after his vehicle, safety on the road for him is important. He always gives safety ideas for vehicles and has gone above and beyond to create a positive impact on the road.

“This award would be a powerful way of rewarding this driver for all his hard work and dedication towards road safety in our workplace. Honouring him as a Road Safety Hero will hopefully inspire others in our team to adopt a similar mindset, ensuring safety remains a priority for everyone while delivering life-saving oxygen to households.”

The entry resonated deeply with the judging panel, who were seeking a candidate that not only upheld safe driving practices but also influenced others to do the same. His proactive approach to vehicle care, safety innovation and team inspiration made him the ideal recipient of this year’s award.

Nick Guise, head of marketing at Trakm8, said Davies was a shining example of what it means to be a Road Safety Hero.

“His dedication to promoting safety and his positive influence within Baywater Healthcare’s team truly embody the spirit of this award. We received many fantastic nominations, but Ryan’s commitment to going above and beyond made him the perfect candidate. We hope he enjoys his well-deserved early Christmas present of a £250 Amazon voucher.”

The Road Safety Hero of the Year competition is run every year by Trakm8 as a cornerstone of its participation in Brake’s Road Safety By celebrating individuals such as Ryan, the company aims to inspire fleets nationwide to prioritise safety and recognise the heroes among their teams.
