Smart electric vehicle charging solutions provider Virta has become the latest firm to sign up to next January’s Great British Fleet Event, continuing its ongoing support in helping operators and drivers transition to EVs.
Founded in 2013, the business is focused on empowering its customers to support electric vehicles and renewable energy around the globe. This includes a host of charging solutions, from domestic charge points for end-users to large-scale commercial propositions. These are backed up by a wealth of services, including iOS, Android and web applications that enable drivers to find, reserve and make use of available stations, as well as pay for charging.
As well as discussing its charging point solutions, Virta will use the Great British Fleet Event – which takes place on 30 January 2020 at the London Novotel West – to talk about the benefits of its smart EV charging platform.
The platform provides a key opportunity for large fleets – running user-chooser and/or job-need fleets – to manage their EV charging infrastructure in a logical and analytical way, from return-to-base vehicles to home-based vehicles to roaming charger requirements. It also supports Virta’s growing focus on V2G energy solutions.
The SaaS platform can also be used by mobility service providers and charge point operators under a white-labelled solution.
As well as outlining how its current – and future – solutions can help fleets make the switch to EVs, experts from Virta will also be on hand at the Great British Fleet Event to give wider insights into future e-Mobility and the direction of travel for the industry as a whole.
More details of the 2020 Great British Fleet Event – including the conference line-up – will be revealed in the coming weeks but registrations are already open. For further info, click here.
