Co-Pilot, a newly launched networking platform for road safety professionals, is working with Driving for Better Business (DfBB) to further its work on eliminating death and serious injury from our roads.
Debuted this month, Co-Pilot delivers a one-stop resource shop for its members, which include road safety practitioners, educators, enforcers, engineers, driver trainers and campaigners.
Co-Pilot Community provides an online space for collaborating and sharing knowledge, details of industry conferences and webinars, as well as a research library, and a range of masterclasses for members.
By joining forces with Driving for Better Business – a free-to-access business engagement programme from National Highways – Co-Pilot will give its members access to a suite of resources aimed at health and safety, fleet and risk management experts – and anyone who manages those who drive as part of their work.
DfBB aims to improve work-related road safety by promoting good risk management practices and demonstrating the business benefits of managing drivers and vehicles in line with current industry good practice.
James Evans, founder and CEO of Co-Pilot, said: “We are excited to partner with Driving for a Better Business; to be able to share and promote DfBB’s resources and campaign materials with members of the Co-Pilot Community. We look forward to working with DfBB; aiming to meet common goals of raising driving standards and improving safety for everyone on our roads.”
Sharon Mitchell of Driving for Better Business commented: “Our missions are very much aligned: to spread the word by sharing and collaborating on knowledge. Co-Pilot, through the community, will be a great asset to working with us.”
