Europcar’s new supersite to offer ULEZ-compliant vans to fleets across South-East

Europcar Mobility Group UK has officially opened the latest of its van rental supersites as part of an ongoing commitment to expand its network.

Located in Purfleet, Essex, the supersite is ideally positioned just inside the M25, providing an extensive range of van – all ULEZ-compliant – to  customers and businesses trading within East London as well as Kent, East Anglia and Hertfordshire.

The two-acre site can hold up to 400 vehicles and covers vans from dropside to short and long wheelbase and including electric vehicles as well as conventional diesel-engine vans.

Importantly, the new station is also being fitted with several electric vehicle charging points.

Vehicles are available from just a few days a time to three months or more, and solutions include Europcar’s Advantage long-term product, which means that businesses can take outright vehicle purchases off the balance sheet while still enjoying all of its benefits through rental.

Stuart Russell, director commercial vehicles, Europcar Mobility Group UK, commented: “With its links to East London as well as surrounding areas, Purfleet is the ideal location for Europcar Mobility Group UK to build on our investment in supersites around the country. The station is strategically positioned to provide the numerous businesses trading within this area with easy access to flexible and cost-efficient transport solutions that can enable their businesses to grow.

“As investment continues within the area the businesses supporting this growth may need to upgrade their commercial vehicle fleets at short notice to deal with additional work. Or, as is often the case businesses may need one or two additional vehicles for one individual job. The solutions we have available from this central hub are equally suited to fulfil both demands.”
