First speakers revealed for Great British Fleet Event Masterclass conferences

Some of the UK’s foremost fleet experts are lined up to speak at this April’s Great British Fleet Event, shedding light on the latest developments in the sector.

Details of the first speakers among the extensive Masterclass conference line-up have been revealed – providing added impetus for fleet operators to sign up for a free event ticket.

Confirmed speakers include Olly Craughan, head of sustainability at DPDgroup UK, who will talk about the company’s inspiring work to drive decarbonisation for its fleet through latest innovations.

Also on the podium at the event, which takes place on 17 April 2024 at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes, will be Euan Moir, head of fleet solutions UK at Shell. Moir will talk about how fleets can accelerate their journey to net zero.

The outlook for electric vehicles, particularly since the advent of the ZEV mandate, will be spotlighted by Maria Bengtsson of EY LLP. She’ll be joined by Mark Main, UK&I transport and logistics lead at EY, who will discuss wider developments in the transport sector and the implications for fleets.

Attendees will be able to access key EV insights from Dan Lawrence-Eyre, co-founder and COO of tech firm Diode, and benefit from charging insights from Thomas Caldwell, CTO of Techniche.

Other vital areas of fleet operations will also come under the spotlight – including road risk management, with insights from Simon Turner, campaign manager for Driving for Better Business, on the latest developments in safety.

The line-up will also include speakers from the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles and National Highways. More details to be confirmed….

That’s just the start of an utterly comprehensive and top-tier Masterclass schedule that will ensure attendees leave with a wealth of new knowledge to take their fleet operations to the next level.

Further reasons to attend the show include a prominent exhibition section, showcasing latest solutions for the sector and giving fleets the opportunity to network with industry associates.

This will be followed by the distinguished black-tie gala dinner in the evening where the UK’s leading fleet operators, service firms and vehicle manufacturers will be recognised for their work at Fleet World’s Great British Fleet Awards.

More announcements will follow in the run-up to the show. To ensure you don’t miss out on attending, please sign up for your free ticket here.
