Fuel Card Services has introduced a new ‘Pro’ version of its Tele-Gence telematics package, bringing a range of smart features, including the option of cameras.
The new ‘Pro’ version joins the standard Tele-Gence package, which launched two years ago for all vehicle types and has been shown to improve vehicle mpg by as much as 20%, according to the firm. It also provides in-depth reporting on fuel fraud, driver behaviour and vehicle monitoring, including tracking business mileage and alerting managers to when vehicles need servicing or MOTs; includes in the scalable range of services.
Part of Fuel Card Services’ managing director Denise Frost’s drive to deliver ever-improving service, savings and security, the new ‘Pro’ version includes the option of a choice of dash cams or the more advanced event-streaming camera, giving instant, customisable alerts. The feed is sent directly to the Tele-Gence platform, providing location, speed and driver behaviour with its built-in tracker.
The Pro version also introduces a range of other improvements, including the option for unlimited users, and real-time functionality for traffic maps, analytics reports and alerts with more customisable options. Fuel card analytics are also improved with an analysis of the fleet’s total fuel trends. In addition, speed restrictions and tolerances can be set for each individual vehicle, with different parameters set around different tolerances to give a true reflection of dangerous driving. There’s also a driver behaviour league table, to inspire healthy competition.
