Andrew is Director of Sustainability and Regulation at Addison Lee. He manages Addison Lee’s Environment, Social and Governance prorgamme and is part of the team that introduced the first electric vehicles on to their fleet. Andrew also manages the company’s relationships with National and Local Governments, regulators and industry partners.

 

Prior to joining Addison Lee, Andrew was an Associate Director at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, where he specialised in infrastructure policy as part of the Industrial Strategy Unit. Andrew was also part of the Industrial Strategy Grand Challenges Team, which developed the Future of Mobility programme that our AV work sits within.

Chris specialises in the transition to electric vehicles, sustainability, alternative fuels and future technologies, and in 2015 was awarded the prestigious Energy Saving Trust's "Green Fleet (unsung) Hero" Award in recognition of the significant contribution to sustainable transport in the UK.

 

He leads on Lex Autolease's thought leadership, writing many of the white papers and “How to Guides” as well as public speaking at industry events and webinars. Regularly commenting in the press and media, having been a freelance journalist for over 8 years previously.

 

He has sat on many environmental transport groups and liaises with industry Associations and Organisations such as the BVRLA, AFP, GUL and Government Departments. Also currently manages Lex Autolease's alternatively fuelled fleet, including their first Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles introduced in May 2016.

Simon is a partner at edenseven and an experienced Sustainability, ESG (Environment, Social & Governance) and Green Fleet senior leader.  Prior to edenseven he repositioned the UK's leading Facilities Management company (£4.5 billion revenue and 78,000 employees) as an ESG high performer. This included launching Plan Zero, a commitment to net zero by 2025 of which a 35% carbon reduction in the first two years has already been achieved, primarily through the rollout of the largest pure electric fleet in the UK with over 2,200 electric vehicles on the road.  As a result, Simon was included in Top 10 most influential people in Green Fleet 2022, the highest ranked fleet leader in the list.

Simon led all aspects of Mitie’s fleet electrification from business case, board sign off, vehicle assessment, infrastructure requirements, solution development and driver awareness & behaviour.  He also worked with senior clients to explain how fleet electrification could be part of their own journey to net zero.  Overall Plan Zero has saved over 350,000 tonnes of carbon for clients.

Previously Simon was a Global Chief Procurement Officer, having worked for Tata Group (TGB), Coca-Cola and Dairy Crest. He lives in the New Forest on the south coast of the UK with his wife. He has two adult children, a Cocker Spaniel called Teddy, and is a keen sailor.

Aliaksandr joined Gurtam in 2009 as the Chief Marketing Officer. In his current role, Aliaksandr directs the entire Wialon division. Over his career at Gurtam, Aliaksandr has built and managed a global high-performance team of software development, marketing, sales, and business development professionals. As an accomplished executive with 18 years of overall experience in management, Aliaksandr has ensured leadership for Wialon, Gurtam's flagship product, and pioneered the largest global community of telematics and IoT professionals.

Niall is the co-founder and CEO of e-mobility startup Paua; the UK’s largest electric vehicle fuel card network for business drivers. Paua makes EV charging simpler for drivers, with a focus on business drivers, through a digitalised solution to find, charge and pay for public EV charging. Drivers can use a mobile app to find chargers and use the app or the Paua EV charge card to start a charge event. The fleet manager receives one single bill for all their drivers saving them time and money. Paua is the future of the fuel card.

Paua partners with chargepoint operators and drivers to enable this simple solution. The technology aggregates a wide range of smart connected devices enabling a better user experience.

Formerly Smart Systems Director at SSE Niall has a breadth of experience across digitalisation of energy assets, IoT and mobility. He was drawn into the world of electric vehicles through EDF where he led the UK electric vehicle team launching the pioneering smart car, smart charger, smart tariff solution that EDF continue to sell. Niall is an engineer by training, with an MBA from CASS business school.

David Bushnell is Director of Strategy & Consultancy. With over 30 years of experience in Financial services, David joined Fleet Operations in January 2022, following a 24-year background as Principal Consultant for leasing giants, Arval and Alphabet.

David’s role is to further enhance the depth of value Fleet Operations brings to its commercial vehicle customers, advising them on strategy and supporting them ahead of legislative changes with particular focus on transition to Alternative Drive Train Technology, Mobility as a Service (MaaS), Fleet taxation, Funding Methodology, Salary Sacrifice and Personal Motoring Schemes. In the earlier part of his career, David was a Mechanical Engineer before spending a decade in Financial Services specialising in Motor, Personal and Secured lending.
