IAM RoadSmart gears up for launch of new driver risk solution at 2020 GBFE

Road safety organisation IAM RoadSmart is returning to the Great British Fleet Event for 2020 as it promotes its forthcoming new driver risk management solution; part of its wider driver training and risk management suite.

A key partner for the 2019 event – which included an IAM RoadSmart training seminar spotlighting driver distraction challenges and solutions – IAM is back for the 2020 show, which takes place on Thursday 30 January at Novotel London West.

Once again, the charity will use Great British Fleet Event to communicate with the fleet sector, both as a service provider and as a road safety organisation.

At the event, IAM RoadSmart will promote its subsidised driver training courses and risk management solutions while also talking about the forthcoming launch of its high-quality, low-cost, simple-to-use driver risk management solution. Claimed to be class-leading, the new product can be underpinned with customer-specific content, with more details to be revealed closer to launch.

As well as the event, IAM RoadSmart will also use the GBFE website and newsletter as a platform throughout the year to raise awareness of its work, as it targets business drivers with training that helps them to deal with the challenges of driving for work.

Driving is statistically the most dangerous task that UK workers are ever asked to perform in the course of doing their jobs but the huge range of challenges facing fleet decision-makers can mean that driver safety can often fall down the list of priorities.

Responding to this, IAM RoadSmart will be looking to take a more active role in keeping the road safety conversation going with GBFE followers as the year progresses, as well as talking to visitors at the show itself to bring to life the issues that will help them to make the right decisions for their business and its safety culture.
