Innovation LLP to demo Traxmiles mileage system plus tax and NIC cost-saving solutions at GBFE

Innovation LLP is attending this April’s Great British Fleet Event to share how its unique tax, payroll and employee benefits solutions could save your fleet and your employees thousands of pounds.

The mileage and tax-related consultancy already saves millions of pounds every year for its clients.

And at the Great British Fleet Event, taking place on 17 April 2024 at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes, its experts will reveal how your fleet can benefit too.

The UK-wide business helps companies and their employees reduce cost through its employee and HMRC-friendly car, employee benefit, mileage expense and fuel tax services, with a particular focus on compliance and risk mitigation.

Solutions include Traxmiles – described as the UK’s most HMRC-compliant mileage capture system. Available via an online system and smartphone apps, Traxmiles enables risk-free and easy business mileage recording for drivers and companies. It even offers automatic drive detection, which means that drivers don’t even need to take their phones out of their pocket.

Amongst a wealth of other fleet-focused services, Innovation LLP also specialises in helping companies recover overpaid National Insurance Contributions in relation to car allowances – as shown by its lead role in helping Willmott Dixon claim back £1.5m in NICs paid on car allowances in a landmark HMRC legal defeat.

Supported by expert consultancy and knowhow, fleets – and individual drivers – can apply for NICs made on cash allowances, going back six tax years, potentially adding up to multimillion-pound refunds.

Innovation is also able to offer a wide variety of other services and solutions to help clients on everything from fleet policy writing to fuel card planning and EV adoption.

Dan Green, head of business development for Innovation, commented “We’re thrilled to be exhibiting at the GBFE and are looking forward to sharing our solutions to save even more fleets even more money.”

Green also urges those who think they may have a NIC reclaim following the Willmott Dixon case to get in contact with Innovation ([email protected]) prior to the GBFE, as waiting until 17 April may mean you miss out on claiming any overpayment relating to the 2017/18 tax year.

Innovation LLP is the latest fleet business to sign up to GBFE – which will boast a comprehensive exhibition and networking section, along with a top-tier line-up of speakers for the Masterclass conferences. That’s by no means least and the event will culminate in the evening’s reveal of the Great British Fleet Awards winners at the black-tie gala dinner.
