Stellar speaker line-up revealed for 2024 Great British Fleet Event

More heavyweight names have joined the speaker line-up for the Great British Fleet Event on 17 April, providing car and van operators with powerful reasons to attend.

It’s just over a month until the doors open to the show– which will gather influential leaders from across the fleet, EV and automotive sectors at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes for a top-level event.

Confirmed speakers for the Masterclass conference programme include Tommi Salminen, vehicle policy advisor at the Department for Transport’s Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV), who will speak on the Governments work to support the transition to ZEVs.

Also present will be National Highways’ Adam Simmons, director of strategic planning and analysis, who will provide invaluable insights on planned road investments, road safety improvements and technology.

Shell will be at the show. Euan Moir, head of fleet solutions UK, will provide an overview of how Shell’s UK B2B mobility division is working to help fleets go electric in the evolving mobility sector.

And Simon Turner, campaign manager at Driving for Better Business, will shed light on how fleets can reinforce their risk management.

Attendees will also be able to hear from fleet operators themselves. Olly Craughan, head of sustainability at DPDgroup UK, will deliver real-world insights on the company’s tried-and-trusted methods for decarbonising a fleet.

James Pestell, national sales manager at IFC Group and board director at the Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP), will also be up on the rostrum, dispensing advice for fleets.

And that’s far from it – with some 15-plus speakers covering everything from EV innovations and best practice, through to maximising cost savings and efficiency, the event will provide attendees with everything they need to know in the rapidly moving fleet sector.

Add in the extensive networking opportunities and a wide-ranging exhibition section, and there’s a wealth of reasons for fleets to sign up.

More event details and the form to register for a free ticket are online.
