Telematics specialist Teletrac Navman has signed a deal with logistics and delivery software business Stream that will offer transport and logistics operators an end-to-end solution that could cut costs and time.
The partnership will see Teletrac Navman integrate its telematics data with Stream’s logistics and compliance products, enabling customers to manage everything from job dispatch and completion, vehicle and equipment inspection and maintenance, while also monitoring everything to do with driver performance.
The tie-up will help customers become more operationally efficient, reduce costs to enable reinvestment, save time and resource, and improve customer service.
More specifically, Teletrac Navman’s telematics data will also help operators to improve driver behaviour on the road, better protect their high-value assets, reduce maintenance requirements and insurance premiums.
Peter Millichap, marketing director at Teletrac Navman, commented: “Stream is a first-class software business that has developed two very compelling products for operators across the country. The synergies between our businesses is evident and we’re already exploring conversations with a number of current and prospective customers who we believe this will add real value to their operations.”
Dave Pickburn, founder and director at Stream, added: “This is very much a partnership that offers operators something more than just the sum of the two parts. We can effectively provide them more added value, collective data and operational tools than ever before, so it’s an exciting prospect to take to market.”
