TfL’s plans and Clean Air Zones under focus at Great British Fleet Event

Fleets looking for further insight into advice on compliance with Clean Air Zones (CAZs) and the Government’s plans are being urged to attend the Great British Fleet Event on 24th January 2019.

Taking place at Novotel London West in Hammersmith, the event features a ‘three in one’ format of an information-packed conference, a packed exhibition line-up and an awards presentation.

Starting from 9.30am, the conference will cover a raft of the latest issues to hit fleets – including an Urban Fleet Masterclass that will look at the issues involved with city operations.

Chaired by the ICFM, the Masterclass will see Simon Roberts, principal city planner at Transport for London (TfL), outline the Government’s viewpoint on its plans ahead.

Meanwhile, ICFM director Peter Eldridge will look at CAZs and how fleets can improve compliance and cut costs.

Brendon Harper, air quality project manager at the Cross River Partnership will look at collaborative projects delivering real-world CO2 savings for businesses.

And Tony Greenidge, business development director at IAM RoadSmart, will address the issues of risk involved for urban fleets, looking at the benefits of e-learning as part of a risk management strategy.

Meanwhile, other Masterclasses at the event will put the focus on key subjects including electric vehicles, technology and future fleet issues – including mobility and tax.
