Licence Check returns to GBFE to debut new DAVIS Coaching product

Licence Check is coming back to the Great British Fleet Event in April with an all-new solution to help businesses manage driver and fleet risk.

The company will be showcasing its new Coaching product, which is the latest module available in its DAVIS (Driver and Vehicle Information Solution) platform.

The brand-new interactive learning and development service is intended to create a community of better-informed, engaged and safer company drivers.

It’s linked to Licence Check’s brand-new DAVIS Driver App and delivers bite-sized education to drivers to help them improve their road knowledge and driving habits.

Its ‘little and often approach’ is based on a continuous learning method, ensuring that drivers are not bombarded or overwhelmed with information, but instead are encouraged and motivated to keep learning.

Drivers are then scored both on how they have answered the questions and how responsive they are in terms of using the app. These scores generate both a ‘RoadRating’ and ‘Willingness To Learn’ classification, which are then fed back into the DAVIS platform, enabling  Fleet Managers to identify any drivers that may need further intervention.

It’s the latest addition to the DAVIS solution, which allows companies to stay on top of employee driving licence eligibility, reducing driver risk and fulfil their duty of care.

The new Driver app can be integrated with Licence Check’s analytical fleet management solution, DAVIS Fleet, giving provide drivers relevant vehicle information to manage their own vehicle.

It’s a powerful new way to reduce occupational road risk – and the new module could also help clients reduce insurance premiums by demonstrating proactivity in risk management.

More details of the new DAVIS Coaching solution are here – but fleets attending this year’s Great British Fleet Event can speak with the DAVIS experts direct to get the lowdown on how this advanced new service could benefit their drivers and business.

There are many other reasons for fleet managers to sign up now for this year’s GBFE on 17 April 2024 at Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes. From displays of the latest vehicles and fleet solutions, to networking opportunities, thought-provoking Masterclass conferences and the evening’s glittering awards ceremony, it’s all here.
