Allen Ford renews 5,000 vehicle deal with Manheim

Manheim has scored a renewal deal with UK dealership Allen Ford that will see it auction 5,000 vehicles a year.

The deal builds on the firms’ existing partnership that stretches back to 2002 and will auction vehicles from Allen Ford’s 20-plus dealer locations across the country, which supply both Ford cars and vans to private motorists and businesses.

The latest partnership will make use of Manheim’s established sales programme offering Allen Ford cars at its Northampton and Bruntingthorpe centres, and LCVs at its dedicated CV auction centre in Shepshed.

Peter Bell, MD for Manheim, said: “It is a fantastic business win for Manheim to continue its relationship with such a valued customer until 2020.

“Like us, Allen Ford has a forward-thinking approach to remarketing, and we look forward to supporting the continued development of its disposal strategy over the coming months.”

Andrew Muffett from Allen Ford added: “We have enjoyed an effective partnership with Manheim for 17 years, and are pleased to be extending this for a further year.

“We look forward to continuing to benefit from the professional approach and customer service that we have come to expect from Manheim over the year ahead.”
