E-Training World to showcase latest-generation online driver profiling solution at GBFE

E-Training World will be at this April’s Great British Fleet Event to reveal its new online driver profiling and e-driver training system.

Never before has an online driver training provider been able to truly replicate an in-vehicle/on-road driver risk assessment and training experience through an online application.

Developed on the back of two years of software development and over 5,000 miles of filming, DriverAssess transforms the way drivers are risk assessed and trained online – and fleets attending GBFE on 17 April at Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes, will be able to find out more.

On a globally recognised software platform, it can be integrated with other systems while a fully tablet- and mobile-ready experience is offered to drivers with no access to a PC or laptop.

The system uses high-definition in-vehicle, roadside and drone video footage to genuinely replicate the on-road experience, based on the type of vehicle assigned to a driver – whether that’s cars/small vans, large vans, HGV artics, HGV rigids, minibuses, and PCVs.

Bespoke assessment and training processes can be tailored to each client, and training modules are triggered based upon the precise needs of each driver, as identified by the individual elements of their risk assessment.

E-Training World is renowned for leading the market with white-labelled solutions, providing systems to major insurers such as QBE Insurance, AXA and Marsh McLennan.

The highly innovative DriverAssess system takes this ‘partner’ offering to a brand-new level, giving the ability for white-labelled partners to deliver a solution to their fleet customers, while putting their clients in full control of onboarding drivers, allocating relevant training, monitoring results and benefiting from a system that becomes an integral aspect of their risk management strategy.

Companies such as Transport for London, Weetabix, G4S, FM Conway, MGroup Services, SCS and Wolseley all benefit from pinpointing those drivers most likely to be involved in a collision, then providing relevant online training to ensure drivers remain accident-free.

Haulage and warehousing business John Mitchell commented: “Such is the effectiveness of the system that there was a short period when we weren’t using it quite as much and we saw our collisions creep up again.”

Jim Billings, practice leader – motor risk solutions at QBE, said: “The driver profiling is simple and accurate, and the e-driver training modules add a great deal of value to our insurance clients to help reduce their risk.”

At the Great British Fleet Event – which is free to attend – visitors will be able to find out more on DriverAssess – and how it’s instrumental in managing driver risk.

DriverAssess is one of a vast number of leading-edge fleet solutions, services and developments being showcased at GBFE. Alongside an extensive exhibition and networking opportunities, the show also includes an authoritative line-up of Masterclass conference speakers, covering subjects ranging from electric vehicle adoption to charging infrastructure breakthroughs and telematics evolutions. This will be followed by the evening’s reveal of the winners of the 2024 Great British Fleet Awards.
