ALS Laboratories (UK) is benefiting from extensive fleet visibility and performance data after deploying telematics technology from Teletrac Navman.
The business provides a comprehensive range of microbiological, physical and chemical testing services for businesses operating in the food and drink, dairy, and pharmaceutical industries, and is using Teletrac Navman’s DIRECTOR connected fleet management platform across more than 80 of its refrigerated vehicles.
The fleet tracking system provides access to real-time data from the location of individual vehicles, to vehicle utilisation and driver performance.
Teletrac Navman’s Driver ID system will also be installed across the vehicles – which are in charge of efficient sample collection and protection – and provides visibility on who is behind the wheel at any particular time.
ALS has also received the support of Teletrac Navman’s Professional Services team, which provides expert consultancy at the onset of an implementation to guide businesses on the best set-up for their business, ensuring maximum ROI.
Susan Pratt, UK logistics manager at ALS Laboratories, said: “Our customers need a testing partner they can trust and on top of the results we provide that means an effective, efficient and responsible transport operation. Teletrac Navman’s expert front-end consultancy means we now have an integrated solution that has given us more fleet visibility and performance data than ever before, improving our operations no end.”
