Brake is running a series of free 60-minute webinars to provide expert advice on the fundamental elements of running a fleet safety programme, anywhere in the world.
The webinars are being delivered as part of Global Fleet Champions, a not-for-profit global campaign to prevent crashes and reduce pollution caused by vehicles used for work purposes. Global Fleet Champions is free to join and shares training, tools, and guidance on global fleet safety best practice with its members, as well as networking and development opportunities.
The webinars are based on the five pillars of Global Fleet Champions: driver behaviour, incident analysis and intervention, vehicle procurement and maintenance, journey routing and modal choice, and community outreach.
The first webinar of the series, which takes place on Tuesday 19 March, looks at driver behaviour and will provide delegates with info on how to :
- Write and implement an effective fleet safety policy and driver handbook;
- Plan and deliver an effective driver training and education programme; and
- Access resources to support their work.
